Originality Technique ImpactThis is really, really adorable!
I really like the lighting on this piece! The shading goes well with the direction of the lighting, and the colors are appropriately brightened/darkened in areas. The gel-like surface of the Skelemur makes it look like he's transparent and we were looking at the actual bones.
The color choice for the background is really, really great, since it doesn't interfere with the eyes. It blends right in to the drawing and you managed to blur it enough to make it look like the Skelemur was focused.
The skull is really, really adorable and I love the eye sockets! How tiny the bones are makes it adorable and I really wish there was a Skeleanimal of this! It's adorable!
